Built by Agency Developers, for Agency Developers

We've managed hundreds of WordPress sites. We know the pain of update anxiety, 2 AM emergency calls, and clients who don't understand the value of maintenance. We built SafeWP to solve these problems for ourselves, and now we're sharing it with you.

Our Mission

WordPress agencies shouldn't have to choose between keeping sites updated and keeping them online. The fear of breaking a client's site with an update shouldn't be a normal part of the job.

We believe that proactive maintenance, powered by smart automation and safety nets, should be the standard. That's why we built Safe Updates from the ground up, and why every feature in SafeWP is designed to make you more confident, not more anxious.

Our goal is simple: help WordPress agencies deliver better service with less stress. We want you to sleep through the night knowing your client sites are protected.

What We Believe

Safety First

Every feature is designed with protection in mind. Updates should never be scary.

Automation Over Manual Work

If a task can be automated reliably, it should be. Your time is better spent on creative work.

Transparency Builds Trust

Clear reporting and honest communication help you build stronger client relationships.

Built for Scale

Whether you manage 10 sites or 500, the workflow should be the same.

Our Story

SafeWP started as an internal tool. We were running a WordPress agency, managing around 150 client sites, and we were drowning in maintenance work. Every plugin update felt like Russian roulette. We'd spend hours every week manually backing up sites, applying updates, and checking for problems. And when things went wrong? Late nights, stressed clients, and rushed fixes.

We tried every WordPress management tool on the market. They helped with some things, but none of them solved our core anxiety: the fear that an update would break a site and we wouldn't know until a client called us angry. We wanted a system that would catch problems automatically, fix them if possible, and alert us only when human intervention was truly needed.

So we built it. Safe Updates was the first feature: automatic backups, health checks, and rollbacks. Then came error monitoring, because we were tired of finding out about PHP errors from clients. Then backups, because we wanted reliable, managed storage with retention built in. Each feature was built to solve a specific pain point we experienced ourselves.

Today, SafeWP is used by agencies around the world. But it's still built the same way: by people who actually manage WordPress sites, for people who actually manage WordPress sites. Every feature has to earn its place by making your life genuinely easier.
